Kind Staff Eased my Fears

On August 6, 2008 I arrived at New Island Hospital for my scheduled surgery. I was both anxious and nervous as any patient would be. My worries were soon put to rest by the kind and attentive staff at New Island, specifically pre-op nurses Wayne and Joanne, OR nurse Judy, Anesthesiologist Dr. Tsu, and my post-op nurses Mary and Cathy. The staff in the waiting room and all the staff my family and I encountered were kind and caring.

It was due to the professionalism and sensitivity of such people that my experience at New Island Hospital was better than I could have ever hoped for. Thank you all so much.
