Thank You To The Wound Care Center

I want to write you a letter with regard to the treatment that I received from the St. Joseph Would Care Center.

After my surgery at St. Joseph Hospital my doctor came to my room to explain the Wound Care Center and the benefits that that my surgery would receive if I want.  He was detailed, most convincing and removed any hesitation I might have had without his visit.  The following day and several times thereafter while I was at St. Joseph Hospital, I was transported down to the Center where I was introduced to a great group of people, all of whom made me very comfortable, explaining everything that would happen and even gave me my choice of TV shows.  I was introduced to another patient who told me what wonderful results he had due to his visits.

The atmosphere at the Wound Center is almost like a club.  Everybody introduces themselves and is on a first name basis.  There is no doubt about what they do and that their experience permits watch and very one of them to understand the personalities and concerns of each and every patient and make everything an efficient yet friendly experience.  Everybody really cares about us and is doing their very best to give the best treatment possible and get us out and home or back to work.  It is my belief that all of this comes from the fact that everybody, from transportation to the doctors, nurses and nursing assistants, is very experienced in the area of wound care, be it a single bandage to complicated surgery such as I had.

I cannot thank enough the people that took care of me, and many of them I still see on my continued outpatient visits.
